Their solutions simplify the booking and management processes equally for corporates, travel managers, and travelers.

    Project details

    The integration customer solution’s in Concur is a significant project for our client, aimed at simplifying the hotel booking process for their clients. As a company dedicated to providing innovative travel solutions, we understand the importance of offering our customers a diverse range of high-quality hotels.
    The team responsible for this project will connect with the Concur platform, creating a seamless experience for our clients when accessing a broad selection of hotels.
    In addition to the Concur integration project, the Sales SOAP API plays a critical role in enabling customer to offer a seamless booking experience to our clients. The API is consumed by various internal systems, as well as external partners such as OBEs, TMCs, and integration partners. This integration allows our partners and clients to leverage customer content and make hotel reservations directly through the system, with immediate confirmation and at the best possible rates.

    Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Product Owner to drive and define the launch of new products, features, and services. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for representing the business stakeholders to the development team and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product to increase company revenue and customers’ satisfaction.

    • Serve as the voice of the business stakeholders to the development team and responsible for driving and defining the launch of new products, features, and services
    • Collaborate with other product teams, internal business partners, internal technical experts, and commercial services partners to innovate, develop, and launch new features
    • Evaluate data and feedback from stakeholders to develop insights and product features tied to objectives with product end-users (both internal and external)
    • Advise on product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization to cross-functional teams, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, QA, and business partners
    • Develop, own, and execute delivery roadmaps in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, define priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks
    • Ensure the product aligns with company mission and goals and establish workflows and goals with product scrum team and product leaders
    • Prioritize and maintain the development team backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders and technical teams
    • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
    • Resolve development and requirement issues where necessary to speed delivery and ensure developers understand the value of features being developed and that they are implementing user stories correctly
    • Work with business stakeholders on the go-to-market plan, ensuring that product management, marketing, training, customer service, and communications have what they need to be successful
    • Provide thought-leadership and innovative ideas for the furthering of the product(s)
    • Work with technical leads and QA on release planning

    Skills

    The ideal candidate should be able to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams, have excellent project management skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field; Master’s preferred
    • 3+ years of previous experience as a product owner or in a related field
    • Solid understanding of the software product lifecycle and experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of digital solutions (experience in SaFe is a plus)
    • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products and software concepts, and up to date on industry standards and best practices
    • Experience running an agile board using Jira
    • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
    • Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and business concepts to developers
    • Accurate and precise attention to detail
    • Excellent English skills
    • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with the team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
