• Security Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring security is a fundamental aspect of every phase of the development process.
• Continuous Monitoring: Implement and maintain continuous monitoring tools to identify vulnerabilities and threats in real-time, enabling rapid response and remediation.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated security testing and compliance checks to streamline the deployment process and reduce human error.
• Threat Detection: Identify, analyze, and respond to security threats and incidents, working with incident response teams when necessary. Secure Coding Practices: Promote secure coding practices and provide guidance to development teams on writing secure code.
• Security Awareness Campaign: Design and lead security awareness campaigns within the organization to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices, including email security, phishing prevention, and data protection.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and secure infrastructure using IaC tools and best practices, such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and regulatory requirements, and assist in audits as needed. Security Documentation: Maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

• Proven experience in DevOps and security, with a focus on DevOps
• Proficiency with GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment. Terraform is a plus
• Experienced with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Linux server experience and knowledge
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with firewall systems, including CSF and IP tables
• Ability to identify and implement optimizations in existing systems
• Familiarity with maintaining architecture
• Focus on ensuring the system’s security, including protecting against malware and monitoring employee security practices
