Senior Data Engineer

The core technical stack is mainly Java, Spring and Angular with cloud-based environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Depending on the context, some of our teams also use MongoDB, Kafka, Python, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, PostgreSQL, Kotlin, etc.

Write well designed, testable and efficient parameters/code using NDH script language in accordance to story’s requirements. Build data interfaces to import and export data to and from NDH. Build data quality checks on reference data according the business requirements (ex: financial assets). Setup and design NDH data dictionary following the business data model defined with data architects and NDH experts. Suggest, influence, develop and implement innovative solutions to improve and enrich our software solution portfolio. Depending on your experience, accompany and coach junior developers in your area of expertise. Deliver shippable features as part of a dedicated Scrum team.

• A university degree
• Proven experience with one or more object-oriented languages such as Java or Python
• Proven experience with the RDBMS model
• Ideally, an experience with NeoXam Data Hub or similar Master Data Management systems
• Knowledge of industrial software development tools and practices such as Atlassian market products like Jira, Wiki, Xray
• Knowledge of file structures like XML/XSD, JSON and CSV
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of an agile team

Ideally, an experience in business topics areas such as:

• Financial instruments, pricing, indices domain
• Bloomberg messages feeding (Six, WMdaten, Reuters, Fund Info, ….)
• Transactional flows in and out
• Funds domain
• Legal reporting
