Project details

The role focuses on client-side and server-side tracking (GTM + Stape), enabling reliable insights into user behavior, traffic sources, and marketing performance while ensuring privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Google Tag Manager (client-side & server-side) and operate server-side GTM (Stape)
  • Implement and maintain marketing pixels (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, TikTok)
  • Ensure accurate tracking of user journeys, conversions, and campaign attribution
  • Define and maintain a scalable data layer and tracking architecture
  • Configure and maintain GA4 and Piwik PRO for traffic and performance analysis
  • Integrate and manage consent management platforms (e.g. Usercentrics) in compliance with GDPR
  • Implement behavioral analytics tools (e.g. Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity)
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and resolve tracking discrepancies

Skills

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager (client & server-side) and Stape

  • Strong knowledge of marketing tracking, pixels, and data layers

  • Experience with GA4, Piwik PRO, and Usercentrics (or similar CMPs)

  • Understanding of GDPR / DSGVO and consent-based tracking

  • Experience with eCommerce tracking setups

  • JavaScript and HTML for implementation and debugging

  • English Upper-Intermediate or higher 

    Nice to Have

  • Cross-domain / multi-brand tracking experience

  • Familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, or CDPs

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker Studio)
