Senior TYPO3 Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced TYPO3 Frontend Developer to join a dynamic development team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing frontend solutions within a TYPO3 CMS environment, translating design mockups into polished, functional web interfaces.

• Developing and maintaining frontend components within TYPO3 CMS
• Converting UI/UX mockups and design specifications into responsive HTML/JavaScript templates
• Writing clean, standards-compliant PHP, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS code
• Collaborating closely with designers, backend developers, and project stakeholders
• Troubleshooting and resolving frontend issues in existing TYPO3 installations
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to technical documentation

Must-haves:

• Several years of hands-on experience with TYPO3 CMS, with a clear frontend focus
• Proven ability to translate mockups into TYPO3-based HTML/JavaScript templates
• Solid working knowledge of PHP and JavaScript/HTML
• Comfortable working in English at a B2–C1 level (written and spoken)
• Team player mindset — collaborative, communicative, and reliable

Nice to have:

• Experience with TYPO3 extensions and TypoScript configuration
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (webpack, npm, SCSS)
• Knowledge of responsive/mobile-first design principles
• Experience with Git version control and agile workflows
