Senior QA Automation Engineer

• Extend and enhance our existing, general-purpose E2E test automation framework (Kotlin-based) to ensure robust coverage for our new conversational AI product.
• Develop new, service-level test automation using Python to support your team's deployment pipeline and product stack.
• Develop and execute novel testing strategies specifically for conversational AI and LLM-based features, focusing on performance, accuracy, and user interaction quality.
• Champion a 'whole-team' approach to quality, coaching and mentoring engineers, designers, and product managers on testing best practices and risk-based analysis.
• Continuously test throughout the entire SDLC, from idea and design to code and production, using a smart mix of exploratory, automated, and session-based testing techniques.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify and mitigate integration risks at the API and system level, thinking deeply about how our services interact.
• Ensure testing approaches and documentation meet the needs of our regulated and compliance-driven context, reporting results clearly and effectively.
• Drive the internal quality community, actively share your knowledge, and help raise the bar for testing and quality across the entire engineering team.

Must-have Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quality Engineer (or similar role) with a strong background in extending and scaling test automation frameworks.
• You are comfortable working with our existing E2E framework (written in Kotlin), and you are a fast learner eager to dive in.
• Deep understanding of system-level testing, API testing, and identifying complex integration risks.
• Experience testing complex, modern web applications. Familiarity with our product stack is a big advantage. These technologies and tools include Typescript, Javascript, React, Python, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, Jenkins.
• A risk-based and context-driven mindset, with hands-on experience in exploratory testing, session-based test management, and testing heuristics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you are happy to pair, learn, teach, and share your knowledge with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, result-oriented, and highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
