Senior GIS Business Analyst

The client is a leading international consulting company specializing in real estate, infrastructure, and industrial sector solutions. With headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, they operate in over 60 locations worldwide and have a team of approximately 6,000 employees.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong GIS expertise to support requirements analysis, process modeling, and the implementation of GIS solutions. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, supporting data preparation, and contributing to agile project teams.

• Conduct end to end business analysis for GIS projects, including requirements gathering, modeling, specifications, and roll out support.
• Apply BA methods such as User Stories, BPMN, and UML.
• Support GIS solution design with solid knowledge of ArcGIS, system interactions, and interfaces.
• Perform data analysis and preparation using SQL, Python, FME, or ETL workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels and contribute to agile processes (Scrum/Kanban).
• Assist in workshops and user training when required.

• 3+ years of GIS business analysis experience (requirements, modeling, specifications, implementation).
• 3+ years applying BA methodologies (User Stories, BPMN, UML).
• Strong GIS knowledge, especially ArcGIS.
• 1+ year in data preparation and analysis (SQL, Python, FME, ETL).
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong communication skills.
• Language : German language is mandatory C1, English mid-level B2 (Good to have).
