Senior DevOps Engineer

Our Customer is a pioneering project to establish the first consolidated tape across European equity exchanges. The ultimate goal for the company is to provide an access to the market data for all investors by offering a fully consolidated view of the European equity and ETFs markets.

DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, building and maintaining client IT infrastructure and surrounding components. The candidate will work in strong collaboration with Business and Technology stakeholders as well as engineering teams from trusted vendors.

The Team will be gathered from scratch and consist from external vendor who will provide core solution development and client's team. DevOps role will be in client's team.

This expert will be responsible for owning the Central IT components such as CI/CD pipeline, IAM, Security and Monitoring tools.

DevOps Engineer will be involved in Software Deployment and Production Support. Working together with Support Teams the successful candidate will participate in day-to-day support activities, overseeing Incident Resolution and Problem Management process, as well as ensuring the tools are in line with immediate needs of the respective teams.

We are seeking for bright and motivated DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience to build and operate Central IT components. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and passionate about optimizing development and operations processes.

Education and Experience

•  Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Work experience of 4-5 years as DevOps Engineer
• Successful DevOps strategy implementation in FinTech is a plus
• Upper - Intermediate English at least

 Technical Expertise

• Experience working with public cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS as well as bare metal infrastructure
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Background in GitOps tools such as ArgoCD
• Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Action, GitLab CI/CD pipeline or Tekton)
• Understanding IAM principles and experience working with IAM solution such as Keycloak (would be a plus). Expertise in implementing security measures.
• Experience working with log and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk
