Project details

The incumbent will be involved in several IT projects with a strong focus on GCP and Kubernetes. They will help drive the implementation of best practices, advise project resources and support the upskilling of client's internal teams. Experience with Kafka is beneficial but not the primary focus of the role.

You will join a collaborative team of experts focused on managing and optimizing release processes across platforms. The team works closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and business partners to ensure operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day running of AWS and On-Premises infrastructures
  • Monitor and fine-tune AWS performance and costs
  • Work on cloud engineering issues and tickets in ITSM tool
  • Troubleshot OS and application problems related but not limited to Internet Information Services (IIS), Microsoft BizTalk and others.
  • Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of the infrastructure on AWS.
  • Enhance the foundations of GCP and deliver well-architected implementations based on business and technical requirements.
  • Manage full application stacks from the OS through custom applications using Amazon cloud-based computing environments.
  • Maintain existing AD infrastructure including Azure Entra ID
  • Maintain existing DNS infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain automation tools including Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, UiPath and others.
  • Manage a continuous integration/continuous deployment methodology for server-based technologies.
  • Work with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable software services.
  • Review and optimize the patching process for Windows and Linux servers
  • Follow all the best practices and procedures established by client as part of the Unified Infrastructure.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (IT experience can substitute for a bachelor's degree).
  • Strong experience with GCP services such as storage, Cloud APIs, VPC, etc. Certification on GCP will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services: building environments with services such as EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, EKS, SSM Patch Manager, etc; AWS Certification will be a strong advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
  • External Confidential.
  • Experience in DevOps tools such as Terraform to deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure, Bitbucket, ArgoCD, Helm etc.
  • Experience in Linux operating systems and scripting with PowerShell, Python, etc.
  • Ability to train others on technical and procedural topics.
  • A team player capable of demonstrating flexibility and motivation in a dynamic international environment.
