The role supports the client's global material master data environment, with a focus on the creation, maintenance, synchronization, and movement of material data across systems.
The consultant will support operational MDM activities and help ensure that material master data remains consistent across the company's global and regional environments, including cross-regional data synchronization. The scope includes IDocs, intercompany message types, system synchronization, and retail-specific material master processes.
As the consultant becomes familiar with the company's SAP landscape, the role may expand to include change requests, project support, rollout activities, and S/4-related migration work.
You will join the SAP team, responsible for SAP MM, MDM, Production Planning, PP/PPDS, and Quality Management. The team is relatively small, with individual consultants typically taking ownership of specific module areas. You will be integrated into the internal SAP team and work closely with global colleagues, business stakeholders, and connected module teams. The role requires strong ownership, attention to data quality, and the ability to understand how master data flows across complex system landscapes.
