SAP FI Consultant

The role supports the company’s global SAP Finance environment, covering incident, change, and problem management, period-end closing, and ongoing improvements to financial processes. You will work closely with connected modules (MM, PP, LE/EWM, SD, CO) and take part in projects and enhancements as they come up.

You will join the SAP team responsible for Materials Management, Master Data Management, and related production and logistics modules. The team is relatively small, with individual consultants typically owning a specific module area, giving you clear ownership over your area of expertise while working closely with colleagues covering adjacent topics.

• Support incident, change, and problem management activities
• Support integration activities with related SAP modules (e.g. MM, PP, LE/EWM, SD, CO)
• Analyze and optimize end-to-end period closing processes
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements
• Configure and customize SAP FI module according to business needs according to SAP best practices
• Design functional specifications and collaborate with development teams on enhancements
• Execute and coordinate testing activities (Unit Test, Integration Test, UAT)
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend SAP best practices

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP FI consulting experience
• Strong S/4 Finance expertise: financial closing, AR and AP, Asset Accounting incl. investments, account determination, Cash Management, intercompany processes
• EDI/IDoc interfaces
• Business Partner Concept
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA projects
• Strong configuration and customizing skills in SAP FI
• Experience with cross-functional integration scenarios
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of xSuite Add-On (Incoming Invoices) or a comparable tool.
• Experience in a retail system
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications
