SAP Controlling Consultant

The role supports a global SAP Controlling environment, with an initial focus on operational support, daily tickets, complex issue resolution, and smaller change requests. 
The consultant will provide additional capacity to the existing CO team and may gradually take on rollout or project involvement as capacity allows. The main objective is to strengthen operational coverage while bringing deep expertise in production costing, cost controlling, and integration-heavy CO topics.

You will join our client's global SAP Controlling team, currently made up of four CO consultants located across Europe, Thailand and North America, providing strong time-zone coverage. You'll be fully integrated into the internal SAP team, working closely with production, finance, and global business stakeholders. 
The role calls for independent problem-solving, ownership of assigned topics, and the ability to navigate complex, integration-heavy issues across interconnected SAP processes.

• Provide operational SAP CO support for global subsidiaries, including daily support, tickets, incidents, and smaller change requests.
• Analyze and resolve complex SAP CO issues, particularly those involving integration with production and other SAP modules.
• Support cost controlling, product costing, and production costing processes.
• Handle forecasting-related CO topics and support associated process improvements.
• Support stock devaluation processes and resolve related functional or integration issues.
• Investigate root causes and propose practical, sustainable solutions.
• Work closely with production, finance, and SAP stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Take ownership of assigned topics from initial analysis through resolution and documentation.
• Support testing, process optimization, documentation, and user guidance.
• Contribute to rollout or project activities when capacity and project needs require it.

• Strong, hands-on experience as an SAP CO Consultant.
• Deep knowledge of cost controlling, costing, and production costing.
• Strong understanding of SAP CO integration with production processes.
• Experience handling complex, integration-heavy SAP issues.
• Knowledge of forecasting-related CO processes.
• Experience with stock devaluation processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex topics.
• Experience working with international teams and global business stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• A practical, hands-on working style and strong team integration mindset.
• Broad FI/CO experience without deep SAP CO expertise is not sufficient for this role.
