The role supports a global SAP Controlling environment, with an initial focus on operational support, daily tickets, complex issue resolution, and smaller change requests.
The consultant will provide additional capacity to the existing CO team and may gradually take on rollout or project involvement as capacity allows. The main objective is to strengthen operational coverage while bringing deep expertise in production costing, cost controlling, and integration-heavy CO topics.
You will join our client's global SAP Controlling team, currently made up of four CO consultants located across Europe, Thailand and North America, providing strong time-zone coverage. You'll be fully integrated into the internal SAP team, working closely with production, finance, and global business stakeholders.
The role calls for independent problem-solving, ownership of assigned topics, and the ability to navigate complex, integration-heavy issues across interconnected SAP processes.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Controlling Consultant to support a global SAP S/4 HANA environment in daily operations and enhancement projects. The consultant will work closely with an international SAP Team, business process owners and key users. The consultant must analyze business requirements, design SAP solutions, and ensure successful implementation and support of SAP MM processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Support incident, change, and problem management activities
Support integration activities with related SAP modules (e.g. MM, PP, LE/EWM, SD, FI)
Analyze and optimize end-to-end period closing processes
Gather, document, and validate business requirements
Configure and customize SAP CO module according to business needs according to SAP best practices
Design functional specifications and collaborate with development teams on enhancements
Execute and coordinate testing activities (Unit Test, Integration Test, UAT)
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend SAP best practices
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on SAP CO consulting experience
Strong expertise in S/4 Controlling:
Product cost controlling
Profitability Analysis, reporting and planning
Stock devaluation
Investment orders
Intercompany Processes
EDI/IDoc interfaces
Business Partner Concept
Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA projects
Strong configuration and customizing skills in SAP CO
Experience with cross-functional integration scenarios
Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
Experienced in Retail system
Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications
