We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Front End Engineer to lead our team in crafting innovative, user-centric web applications that positively impact millions of users’ health journeys. As a Principal Engineer, you will be instrumental in setting the technical direction for our frontend engineering efforts, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.

Technical Leadership: Spearhead the development of our frontend architecture, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company goals. Provide technical guidance and oversight across multiple projects.

Strategic Vision: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the company’s frontend technology strategy, aligning it with business objectives and market trends.

Innovation and Best Practices: Champion innovation by introducing new technologies and methodologies that enhance our frontend capabilities. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Complex System Design: Design and implement large-scale, complex frontend systems using cutting-edge technologies such as React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Kubernetes, and other relevant tools.

Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Actively mentor junior engineers, lead code reviews, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure the team’s technical growth and expertise.

Staying Current: Stay at the forefront of frontend development trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to drive our technology roadmap forward.

Business Alignment: Contribute to the development of customer-centric features that enhance user experience and drive business success, ensuring alignment with company goals.

• Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Principal or Lead Frontend Engineer with a strong background in web development and technical leadership.
• Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to architect complex frontend systems.
• Technology Stack: Familiarity with our tech stack is beneficial, including TypeScript, JavaScript, React, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, and Jenkins. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams to achieve high-quality results. Strong sense of ownership and initiative.
• English Fluency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align technical initiatives with business goals.
