Principal Microsoft Power Platform Architect

Our client is a leading professional services firm providing audit, tax, strategy, transaction, and consulting services to clients in the financial services sector. As part of the global clients` network, the firm serves both regulated and non-regulated fund industries in Luxembourg, operating under strict regulatory compliance frameworks established by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) and Professional Financial Services (PSF) authorities.

The Digital Factory team drives technological innovation and digital transformation initiatives across service lines, supporting critical business operations while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and security.

In this role, candidate will design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI integration. Candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, user-friendly applications that drive digital transformation across our organization.

Application Development & Design

• Design and develop custom Power Apps applications (Canvas and Model-driven apps) to meet business requirements
• Create responsive, intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience and productivity
• Build complex business logic using Power Fx formulas and expressions
• Integrate Power Apps with various data sources including SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure SQL, and external APIs

Platform Integration & Automation

• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports integrated with Power Apps solutions
• Implement data connectors and custom connectors for third-party system integration
• Ensure seamless integration with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure services

Solution Architecture & Best Practices

• Design scalable application architectures following Microsoft Power Platform best practices
• Implement security protocols, data governance, and compliance requirements
• Optimize application performance and ensure efficient data handling
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather and analyze requirements
• Provide technical expertise during solution design sessions and workshops
• Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support for deployed applications
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper deployment and maintenance procedures

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

• Proficiency in Power Fx formula language and advanced canvas app development

• Experience with Model-driven apps, Common Data Service (Dataverse), and data modeling

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook integration)

• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web service integration

• Experience with version control systems and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)

  Professional Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

• Experience in business application development and process automation

• Knowledge of database design principles and SQL querying

• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and hybrid architectures

• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools

• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in financial services
