SAP EAM/PM Consultant

The project focuses on Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) within SAP Asset Management, enabling a standardized digital approach for managing asset master data, technical documentation, and maintenance processes. The scope covers a wide range of assets, including technical building equipment, operational facilities, infrastructure, buildings, properties, and other critical equipment.

The main focus areas are SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes, functional design, interface specifications, process optimization, and structured documentation to support a modern and scalable asset management landscape.

We are looking for an Intermediate SAP Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to join a large-scale SAP Asset Management initiative within a complex industrial environment. You will collaborate with international stakeholders, business process owners, and technical teams involved in the digital transformation of asset management processes.

The team uses tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Teams for project management, documentation, collaboration, and communication. • Analyse business and functional requirements in the SAP maintenance / SAP PM area.
• Create functional concepts for new or changed functionalities.
• Prepare backend and frontend-related specifications.
• Define and document interface concepts for partner applications.
• Support stakeholders in choosing suitable interface technologies.
• Document requirements, concepts, and solutions in a structured way.
• Prepare functional specifications, interface descriptions and architecture-related documentation.
• Support the implementation partner during design and implementation, SAP maintenance and customizing.
• Prepare and perform unit and integration testing.
• Support user acceptance testing, preparation for productive go-live.
• Support hypercare for the productive interfaces.
• Work with Jira, Confluence, MS Office 365, and Microsoft Teams.

Must-have

• Min. 3 years of experience in functional concept work in the SAP PM area.
• Good understanding of SAP maintenance processes.
• Expertise creating functional concepts and specifications, including backend and frontend-related specifications.
• Experience with interface concepts and interface documentation.
• Strong documentation skills, especially for functional concepts, specifications, and interface descriptions.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP FIORI, and MS Office 365.
• Experience with SAP Enterprise Asset Management, with focus on SAP PM.
• Availability for nearshore delivery and travel to Frankfurt am Main (~10 days per year)
• Fluent German language skills

Nice-to-have

• Experience with SAP interface projects, SAP CAFM projects or SAP maintenance-related projects.
• 3+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Previous experience working with large enterprise clients or complex stakeholder environments.
• Ability to work independently and structure requirements, concepts, and documentation with limited supervision.
