Project details

The role is part of a strategic engagement within the banking and financial services sector, supporting large-scale OT/IT transformation initiatives for a major European financial institution.
The project focuses on enhancing operational technology integration, security, and governance frameworks, ensuring alignment between industrial systems and enterprise IT landscapes in a highly regulated environment.

Your Team

You will be fully embedded within the client’s internal team, working in close collaboration with their PMO, architecture, security, and engineering stakeholders.
This is a long-term, full-time integration role, where you will act as a key contributor to ongoing initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution while supporting cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate enterprise-wide data management initiatives.
• Establish and maintain data governance structures, including roles, responsibilities, and processes.
• Develop and implement policies and standards for data quality, security, and usage.
• Monitor and improve data quality and availability across the organization.
• Define and track KPIs related to data management performance.
• Coordinate master data management, data harmonization, and cleansing activities.
• Collaborate with IT, business departments, and compliance teams to ensure consistent data standards.
• Support the implementation of tools and technologies for data governance.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information management, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in data management, data governance, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and master data management.
  • Understanding of data architecture and databases.
  • Familiarity with data protection and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Leadership and change management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to support data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with data governance tools or enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management abilities.
