You will be part of a highly collaborative, international project team bringing together experts in construction, engineering, project management, and data center infrastructure. Responsibilities

As a Data Center Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the construction site. You will ensure that all activities are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards.
You will act as the key on-site point of contact, coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Site Operations & Coordination

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily and weekly construction activities
  • Define priorities and track progress across critical workstreams
  • Ensure continuous alignment with the Project Leader and Construction Coordinator
  • Optimize the use of resources (personnel, materials, equipment, and tools)
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and key milestones

Technical Supervision & Quality Control

  • Ensure all activities comply with technical specifications and project standards
  • Supervise installation, assembly, and on-site testing
  • Identify deviations and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation
  • Ensure delivery meets required quality standards

Health & Safety Management

  • Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Ensure proper use of PPE, site signage, and safe access routes
  • Coordinate with H&S teams and participate in safety meetings
  • Act immediately on unsafe conditions or potential risks
  • Control site access and ensure only authorized personnel are present

Subcontractor & Site Management

  • Coordinate daily activities across subcontractors and technical teams
  • Lead site meetings and ensure clear communication of priorities and tasks
  • Validate permits, work authorizations, and safety documentation
  • Oversee material deliveries, storage, and on-site logistics
  • Monitor execution quality and address deviations in real time
  • Manage on-site incidents with immediate operational response
  • Track and update construction progress and schedules
  • Provide accurate reporting (daily logs, progress updates, photos, documentation)

Incident & Risk Management

  • Identify, log, and track technical and operational issues
  • Propose and implement effective corrective solutions
  • Prioritize incidents based on risk and project impact
  • Coordinate resolution with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Escalate critical risks to the Project Leader

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and deliver daily and weekly progress reports
  • Maintain active communication with clients, PMO, H&S, and stakeholders
  • Participate in internal and external project meetings
  • Proactively report risks, delays, and resource requirements

Logistics & Materials Control

  • Supervise delivery and receipt of materials on-site
  • Manage inventory and monitor material usage
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and protection of materials
  • Coordinate internal site logistics and material movements

Skills

Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field)
  • Additional certifications in Project Management (PMI, PRINCE2) or Health & Safety are a plus

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in construction site management, preferably in data center, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams on-site
  • Strong track record in delivering projects within tight deadlines and high-quality standards
  • Experience working in international and fast-paced environments is highly valued

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of construction processes, MEP systems, and data center infrastructure
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans
  • Knowledge of project scheduling and progress tracking tools
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation standards

Health & Safety

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience enforcing H&S standards on construction sites
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus
