People are talking about going back to the workplace and the new normal. We’re a 100% remote company providing you more choice and greater flexibility to work in a way that’s best for you, your team, and your life. 

If you are based near our Atlanta headquarters, we’re shifting to a hybrid working model, so we’ll have employees working virtually and in the office at any given time.  For our employees in Atlanta, we encourage them to come into the office two to three times a week.  We believe in-person interactions spontaneously build community as well as additional learning opportunities.   

We’re also aware there are times when working together in person is the best way to get things done.  Thus, our go-to-market team brings the entire team together every quarter for two days of training and team building.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our team. This pivotal role involves generating new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and driving the expansion of the customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting. 
  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels such as LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking events, and industry forums.
  • Qualify inbound leads and proactively reach out to target prospects to start meaningful conversations.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through consistent outreach and follow-up.
    Customer Engagement.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact, delivering compelling pitches to introduce Coginiti’s products and services.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ business challenges and align them with Coginiti’s solutions.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or demos for account executives and technical teams.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to execute targeted campaigns and refine messaging strategies.
  • Track and record activities in CRM systems to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform go-to-market strategies.

Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    Knowledge of data analytics, cloud technologies, or enterprise software solutions.
    Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
