The project represents Phase 1 of a Microsoft 365 migration initiative, focused on performing a structured gap analysis of the existing on-premises IT landscape and defining the future target state in the Microsoft Cloud.
The engagement is workshop-driven and concentrates on requirement gathering, stakeholder alignment, and documentation of the current and future architecture.
The outcome of this phase will serve as the foundation for the subsequent technical migration and implementation phases.
The consultant will work closely with the customer’s IT and project management teams, as well as key business stakeholders.
The engagement involves collaboration with decision-makers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to capture requirements and constraints.
Project coordination and prioritization will be aligned with the customer’s project management and governance structures.
Plan and facilitate workshops for requirements gathering and gap analysis
Coordinate with project management on objectives, scope, and timelines
Perform a detailed analysis of the existing on-premises IT environment, including systems, processes, and dependencies
Conduct stakeholder interviews to capture functional, technical, and security requirements
Document the current state (as-is) architecture and processes
Define the future target state (to-be) based on Microsoft 365 services
Identify, document, and prioritize gaps between current and target states
Consolidate findings into structured documentation
Prepare and deliver presentations outlining analysis results, recommendations, and next steps
Support alignment sessions with project managers and decision-makers
