Senior UX Product Designer

A well-regarded entity in the financial sector of Luxembourg is on the hunt for a Senior SaaS Product Designer with a specialization in UI/UX. This individual will play a key role in shaping the user interface and experience for the entity's banking and account management platform.

A series of B2B SaaS products for our Financial institue customers: Public and Private banks, and Financial Fund

Collaboration with product managers, owners, and cross-functional development and testing teams is a fundamental part of this role.

Candidates should be agile/SCRUM proficient and ready to embrace substantial ownership within this framework. Expertise in B2B interbank payment processes, liquidity management, securities reporting, and familiarity with API/FinTech platforms will be highly regarded.

What the Role Entails:

• Transforming product vision alongside product managers into engaging design concepts aligned with business and user needs.
• Employing wireframing and prototyping tools for iterative design validation and user testing.
• Designing efficient information architectures to streamline complex payment workflows.
• Crafting and maintaining a cohesive visual design language across the platform.
• Developing user interfaces with engaging micro-interactions to enhance user satisfaction.
• Ensuring smooth transition from design to development, working closely with the tech team.
• Applying user-centered design principles to develop intuitive and visually pleasing user interfaces.
• Engaging in user research to understand behavior and preferences, influencing design decisions.
• Keeping abreast with industry trends and applying best practices in design for continual product enhancement.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software product design, particularly in digital finance or equivalent SaaS environments.
• Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma or Axure.
• A strong grasp of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design choices.
• A penchant for design systems and a zeal for continuous improvement.
• A problem-solver mindset with a dedication to crafting superior user experiences.
• A potential mentor for junior designers.
• Proficiency in English is essential, with French as a beneficial addition.
• Academic credentials in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar fields.
