Senior React Engineer

InnovativeI Startup building an AI-enabled platform that turns its large library of consulting methodologies into a structured, model-driven system. Methodology leaders will configure models and workflows via a web app using engines for canvases, tables, surveys, and documents/presentations/spreadsheets  Consultants will then use these models in projects: ingesting project context, having AI automatically fill models, receive next-best-model and workflow recommendations, and generate reports, decks, and spreadsheets with traceable citations - ultimately creating an enterprise-ready product.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer with deep expertise in React to build modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

In this role, you will contribute to front-end architecture decisions, drive best practices, and collaborate closely with product, back-end, and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Team will consist from Back-end and Front-end developers, QA Engineer and PM. Total team size 10-12 people.

Front-End Development

Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using React

Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components

Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces

Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, production-ready code

Optimize applications for maximum speed and performance

Architecture & Technical Leadership

Contribute to and maintain front-end architecture and standards

Improve application scalability and maintainability

Lead code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers

Promote best practices in state management, component design, and testing

Drive continuous improvement of development workflows

Performance & Quality

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

Ensure accessibility best practices

Maintain high code quality through linting, formatting, and automation

Collaboration

Work closely with backend engineers to define APIs and integration patterns

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine user experiences

Participate in technical planning, estimations, and sprint ceremonies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
• Strong expertise in React (hooks, context, modern patterns)
• Solid experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or other React frameworks
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of cloud environments and deployment workflows
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
