Senior PHP Software Engineer

The client manages a platform that verifies financial transactions (subscription cancellations, recurring charges). To make it easier for customers to connect payment services or banks, the client provides a universal interface through which payments are processed and routed to various payment providers.

They do not have an architect or a tech lead, and all decisions are made collectively.

Currently, there is a large service built on Node.js that handles everything, and there is a service that manages payment configurations, which is built on PHP. They want to start splitting the large service because it contains too much functionality in one place.

The development process works as follows: there is a weekly meeting where tasks are reviewed, and all other meetings are held as needed.

Have two sub-projects:

1. A state-of-the-art chargeback system, renowned for its efficiency and user-centric design. This system is based on unique in-house developments, featuring direct API connections with VISA and MasterCard. It facilitates near-real-time sharing of dispute data and purchase details between financial institutions and merchants. Additionally, Merchanto serves as a payment gateway for financial transactions, further enhancing its versatility and utility in the financial technology sector.
   The project consists of 2 parts - chargeback service and payments system.

2. Developed a comprehensive solution for deploying a large number of structurally similar websites, where clients can view their credit history. The service includes support for multiple languages and translations, a statistics service, and integration with a variety of third-party packages and services, each tailored to the specific requirements of different countries.
   In simple terms, it's crowdfunding. So, they drive leads to the website, where people register to check their credit rating. The cost for the trial period is 1 euro, but after 2 weeks, 40 euros are deducted from the card.
   Currently, they are working on scaling, meaning they want to make it easy to duplicate this website with a different design and sell it to other people who want to earn money in a similar way.

• 4-5 years of experience in PHP development
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel
• Experience with Nodejs (nest.js framework)

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Upper-Intermediate English
