Data Architect

We are looking for a new colleague who will be part of our dynamic and rapidly growing digital team. The Data Architect, will perform a variety of complex technical activities in a wide and often unpredictable range of contexts. This is a pivotal role in defining and implementing data-driven solutions that align with the business goals and objectives.

Our digital team is driving a large portfolio of projects supporting our Service Lines in EY to apply digital transformation through technologies like software robotics, analytics, artificial intelligence, and conversational interfaces.

Develop and maintain the data architecture for Wealth and Asset Management/Financial Institutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance, industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, identify data-related challenges, and propose solutions.
Create data models, database designs, and database schemas that enable data integration, data management, and efficient querying.
Develop data management strategies, including data governance, data quality, data security, and data lifecycle management.
Design and implement data integration and exchange processes, leveraging APIs, data feeds, and batch processing.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage documentation, and data mapping documents.
Lead data architecture reviews and participate in code and design reviews to ensure adherence to data architecture standards and principles.
Develop proof-of-concept prototypes, demonstrate new data technologies and solutions, and keep up to date with emerging trends in data management and analytics.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or database design, with a strong business profile in wealth asset management and financial institutions
• Solid understanding of data management concepts and principles, including data quality, data governance, data security, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience in designing and implementing data solutions in a high volume, mission-critical environment, with a focus on operational excellence and process automation.
• Experience working with modern data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Elasticsearch, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale data warehousing concepts, techniques, and tools.
• Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, Embarcadero, or PowerDesigner.
• Experience with data integration and exchange technologies such as APIs, data feeds, and batch processing.
• Good knowledge of statistical analysis, data exploration, and data visualization tools such as R, Python, or Matlab.
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
