Senior React Native Software Engineer

Our Customer is an industry-leading game development studio founded in 2007 by award-winning industry veterans. SGI is fearless in creating IP and boldly partners with renowned brands to develop a wide range of world-class, immersive titles and interactive experiences that resonate with strategy gamers worldwide and entertain millions of casual players every day.

We’re building a cross-platform React Native mobile app for sports fan engagement. Core features include content feeds, short-form video, user profiles, gamified challenges, points/leaderboards, notifications, and premium subscription/in-app purchase. The app will ship on iOS and Android from a single codebase, integrate with an existing CMS/asset pipeline, and use a managed backend for auth, profiles, telemetry, and leaderboards (e.g., PlayFab or equivalent). Initial build targets a fast MVP/soft launch, followed by iterative releases.

• Own “plumbing” and integrations: auth, IAP/subscriptions, receipts/entitlements, push, deep links, analytics, and error/crash reporting.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (build signing, envs, artifacts), manage store metadata and release trains.
• Build the data/adapters layer for PlayFab (or equivalent): profiles, telemetry, leaderboards.
• Partner with Lead to enforce security, config management, and observability.

Very Good to-haves

• 3–5+ years React Native; prior ownership of app releases on both stores.
• Hands-on with StoreKit / Google Play Billing, receipt validation/entitlements (client side; server-side coordination).
• CI/CD for mobile, environment/config strategy, feature flags, and runtime config.
• Analytics stack experience (Firebase/Segment/Amplitude/Mixpanel) and event taxonomy.

Nice-to-haves

• PlayFab title setup, data model, and cloud scripts familiarity.
• Background tasks/queues, deep link/routing edge cases, localization.
