The design team is currently expanding to support multiple ongoing initiatives across different service lines. Projects include complex SaaS and CRM applications that require sophisticated user experience design for business workflows and information management. The team works on both existing platform improvements and new application development from scratch, requiring designers who can handle intricate business requirements and stakeholder management. Projects involve close collaboration with product owners, business analysts, and development teams in an agile environment.
The design team operates within a product trio structure (Design Lead, Product Owner, Tech Lead) and includes various seniority levels from junior to design leads. Team members work across different service lines with varying levels of autonomy based on experience. The team emphasizes reliability, clear communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Some team members work remotely across different time zones, making communication and trust essential components of successful collaboration.
Team Lead:
Lead design initiatives across assigned service lines (Assurance, Tax, or Core Platforms)
Manage and mentor a team of 1-2 designers (junior and/or senior level)
Operate as the design representative in the product trio alongside Product Lead and Tech Lead
Ensure design standardization and consistency across all projects within the service line
Present design solutions and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and management
Challenge business requirements and provide strategic design input to improve user experience
Maintain hands-on involvement in design execution while overseeing team output
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between design, development, and business teams
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timeline adherence
Establish and maintain design processes, standards, and best practices for the service line
Conduct design reviews and provide guidance to team members on complex design challenges
