Senior Java Backend Software Engineer

Our Customer has been among the leading consulting and system house in the German real estate business since 1998. The company offers a full range of consulting, development, and implementation of software solutions and training. Based on that, our clients generate a higher yield and become much more flexible and faster in their responses.

New project from scratch.  The product will be used to connect housing associations with craftsmen (work orders processing). 

Project duration is 5-6 month, maybe will be prolonged until end of 2025.

Developers from Brightgrove side will be embedded into the client's team. Team will consist from 3 Backend Software Engineers and 3 Fronted Software Engineers + Manager. From Brightgrove side 2 more Backend Software Engineers will be added to this team. There will be Agile-like process to run this project.

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Java and Quarkus
• Design and manage database
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers
• Be responsible for back-end integrations

• 5 + years in Java development 

• Experience in Unit and Integration tests development

• Good level of English and German

• Experience in Rest API

• Experience with PostgreSQL

• Quarkus

• JS/React

• Experience with TDD approach

• Openshift/Kubernetes
