Senior Java Backend Software Engineer

Our Client has been among the leading consulting and system houses in the German real estate business since 1998. The company offers a full range of consulting, development, and implementation of software solutions and training. Thanks to our Client, customers generate a higher yield and become much more flexible and faster in their responses.

New project from scratch.  The product will be used to connect housing associations with craftsmen (work order processing). 

Project duration is 5-6 months, and it may be prolonged until the end of 2025.

Developers from Brightgrove side will be embedded into the client's team. Team will consist from 3 BE and 3 FE Engineers + Manager. From Brightgrove side 2 more BE Engineers will be added to this team. There will be Agile-like process to run this project.

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Java and Quarkus
• Design and manage a database
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers
• Be responsible for back-end integrations

• 5 + years in Java
• Experience in Unit and Integration tests development
• Good level of English and German
• Experience in Rest API
• Experience with PostgreSQL

• Quarkus
• JS/React
• Experience with TDD approach
• Openshift/Kubernetes
