Senior AI/ML Software Engineer

It's an early-stage aviation technology startup developing an AI-powered flight assistant for pilots.

The company builds a real-time pilot support platform that combines onboard telemetry, machine learning, and predictive flight analysis to improve flight safety and reduce pilot workload during flight.

You will be joining the ground floor of an exciting startup, helping us build the team from scratch. We're assembling a compact, high-impact group of 5–6 talented professionals who will shape the foundation of everything we do.

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics and anomaly detection.
• Develop and optimize models using Python, including XGBoost and deep learning approaches (e.g., LSTM, PyTorch).
• Process, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Implement end-to-end ML pipelines (data ingestion, training, evaluation, deployment).
• Convert and optimize models for on-device usage using MLX and CoreML.
• Monitor model performance, retrain models, and improve accuracy over time.

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries/frameworks (PyTorch, XGBoost).
• Experience with time-series modeling (LSTM) and anomaly detection techniques.
• Solid understanding of predictive modeling, statistics, and evaluation metrics.
• Experience deploying models to production, including mobile environments (CoreML/MLX).
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and ML workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
